Transformation isn't meant to be comfortable....

Transformation isn’t made to be comfortable, it is what we are here to master and it isn’t meant to be rushed.
There is no quick fix, no forcing, no pushing, no pill to pop, no shortcut or steps to skip through.
If it were comfortable we wouldn’t grow. If it were easy we wouldn’t receive the wisdom. If it were brief we wouldn’t discover our true strength, love and compassion.
Transformation is asking us to expand beyond our comfort zone, beyond our limitations and beyond our human conditioning.
At the peak of transformation we must enter a part of ourselves that almost feels unbearable. It’s dark, lonely, frustrating, sad, vulnerable and utterly exhausting. And the more we resist, the more the pain persists.
It is designed this way, to crack our hearts wide open.
This is when we are faced with two choices.
To surrender, hand it all over and trust that we will find our way.
Or retreat, backtrack and return to the comfort of what we have always known.
Neither is wrong and we must trust our own intuition to know whether we are truly ready.
If we are not ready fear will be rife. We will live in our heads and convince ourselves we aren’t strong enough, that it’s safer to go back to the way things were.
But when we are ready, everything flows. Nothing is held onto. We leap into the unknown deeply connected to the heart, and the soul begins to speak.
It’s quiet, it’s humbling and there is no attachment to outcome, no agenda, no five year plan. Just you and your true self, trusting in the unfolding.
What emerges can never be predicted. The old version of you no longer exists, and what rises in her place is far brighter, far more authentic, far more beautiful than anything you could have ever imagined.
And none of this would be possible without the courage to sit with the uncomfortable. To feel all the feels and to deeply trust in the process.
Without the discomfort of healing, we never get to witness our own transformation, one that is full of colour, and sparks the heart back to wholeness.
Much love,
Lisa
